Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4
Sacred Heart Catholic School offers Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 bilingual programs focusing on the spiritual, social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth of each child. The curriculum uses a thematic approach to promote the development of the whole child. By starting children in a Pre-K 3 program, Sacred Heart School ensures students will enter Kindergarten on grade level.
Consortium schools benefit from a partnership with the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE), an organization at the University of Notre Dame with a mission to sustain and strengthen Catholic schools. The core of ACE, a program called Service Through Teaching, pairs highly motivated and committed educators with under resourced Catholic schools. ACE teachers are members of the teaching staff for two years. In addition to excellent academic preparation, ACE teachers integrate their personal, communal, and spiritual lives in their experience at our schools. It is a truly positive experience for the CCA community.
The Christ Child Society’s School Counseling Program provides licensed social workers to each of the Consortium schools. Social workers are on site five days a week providing invaluable support through a variety of avenues, including: individual or group therapy, crisis intervention services and parent advocacy regarding school related issues. Thanks to the Christ Child's skilled social workers, Consortium schools receive high quality mental health services at no cost to the families receiving them.
